The whole movie had a retro mid-century vibe. Obviously, it was based on the book which was published in 1952, but there were a lot of stylistic bits as well: M's pad, the design of the casino, Le Chiffre's boat interior, and the Bermuda hotel,

I really hated Die Another Day. It made Moonraker look like "The Sorrow and the Pity" by comparison. The 2006 Casino Royale was definitely a better way to spend $9.75.
