Before Icky Thump, I only heard one or two White Stripe songs, and wouldn't be able to tell you what they were.

My daughter asked me to listen to Icky Thump, and I did just last week. I really enjoyed it.

As a much more passive music fan than Ace, my impression is very similar. I want to like the White Stripes a lot more than I actually do and the unending adulation of their fans makes me like them a little less still. I understand their desire to maintain
