As someone who celebrates diveristy for me the most wonderful thing about this presidential race is that you have McKinney, who is black, Obama, who is half-black, and Barr, who is 1/16th black.

What does McKinney, and her espoused positions, have to do with environmentalism? The answer to that might explain why she and the Green Party are hurtling toward irrelevance.

I remember back in 2000 and even 2002 that the Green Party really seemed to be getting some traction. They were actually running some candidates for local office (the small central PA town where I did my undergrad almost elected a Greenie to town council)
