Obviously, the new high-tech concept of Thanksgiving is going to need a lot of work, to be fully re-configured. But if we do the work, we will be well rewarded with a much more relevant and less divisive national holiday.

I always thought the point of the feast was to celebrate the two sides getting along. After all, the pilgrims never would've survived without native help, and I thought the whole idea was them eating together to show harmony, thanks, etc.
