Girlie Men The Marrying Type?

In a study of 400 British men and women, the woman ranked the men with more feminine features as more likely to stay in a committed relationship. In your experience, do such assumptions bare out?

Scientists at the universities of Durham and St Andrews showed participants digitally-altered pictures of men's faces and asked them to rank the man based on their impressions. Interestingly, older men and those with healthier features were also ranked as likelier to be better fathers and partners. So who's wackier? The dames or the docs?

How do pick a life partner? A feeling? An emotion? How good the sex was? Or something else more cerebral?

none

I don't know, my anecdotal experience is that this isn't true. My entire family is burly, hairy, and pretty high testosterone, but none of my grandfathers / cousins / uncles / etc have gotten divorced, and we're pretty much all in committed marriages. As far as picking a partner...it's got to be a personality / mental based connection. What good are looks if you can't stand the person? If sex with a hot chick is what you're looking for, go hire a hooker - it's cheaper than a divorce.
