Everyone is talking about global warming.  Well how hot is it getting?  Well in some places hotter n Hell.

On August 29, a record temp of over 29 consecutive days over temperatures over 110.  (112 degrees on that unlucky day.)  Let me go on the record as saying "that sucks."

The highest recorded temperature was on September 13th, 1922 in El Azizia, Libya.  (139 degrees)

But is this proof of global warming?  Living in an arid desert region, it gets damned hot.  In 1999 there were 43 consecutive days of 120 degree Farenheit recorded in Death Valley.  Explains why people don't live in Death Valley all that much.

Wow, I'm getting hot just thinking about all this Global warming crap.  I could use a nice cold Slusho to cool me down...

139??? My goodness! That makes the 110 F degrees I experienced at the end of one July in Louisville seem like +15 C.

Heh. And I'm sure based on where it was located that it was a dry heat.

Spread it on!
