In its continuing quixotic efforts to maintain milk status quo in the face of rising interest in raw milk, the FDA has gone ape shit in response to a California state court ruling against new California Department of Food and Agriculture rules inhibiting the trade of raw milk products.

The move continued action against Organic Pastures farm, which in addition to raw milk for humans, produces raw milk and colostrum for endangered species that cannot survive on any other sustenance. Despite its actions to coerce Organic Pastures farms employees into spying on their own company, the FDA has no standing to regulate the animal food whose distribution networks they were attempting to gain information on. These tactics follow similar tough-guy procedures against Amish raw milk farmers in Ohio and Kentucky.
