I like recipes, and have made that entirely clear on this forum.  Here's my next experiment:

1lb Calamari
32 oz Tomato/basil/mushroom sauce (http://www.mids.cc/), my favorite, but not available nationally, AFAIK.
1lb egg, tomato, and spinach rotini
Some Paresano-Reggianno cheese

Maybe I'll hit it with a little Balsamico acetum, who knows?

I might be an old Bohemian, but I like all sorts of cuisines.  Mexican, Italian, French, Cuban, Puerto Rican, German, Slovakian, Polish, whatever...  bring it on!!

I like just making shit up as I go along. Really. The difference is likely that I cook and don't bake so it's not that big of a difference if I put in a little more of this or that but I like discovering things on my own.

It is easy to buy small plaster models of what you think life is like.

I have a few recipes I would post, but I'm currently traveling on business and hence residing at some godforsaken Best Western, far away from my recipe box...but when I get back on Wednesday, expect some contributions!

I remembered one that I like quite a bit - got it from Allrecipes.  It's a great recipe for baked potatoes on the grill:

Leslie's Salty Grilled Potatoes
Submitted by: Leslie
Rated: 4 out of 5 by 30 members     Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 1 Hour     Ready In: 1 Hour 15 Minutes
Yields: 4 servings
"These fantastic grilled potatoes will have everyone eating the skin! But be careful, no other baked potato will do after this. So be prepared to make it again."
INGREDIENTS:
4 medium potatoes
4 tablespoons butter, softened
4 tablespoons coarse salt

2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon pepper
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
(optional)
DIRECTIONS:

  1.     Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-low heat.
  2.     Prepare four foil squares large enough to fold over one potato each. Spread butter onto foil in a large enough area that the potato will be completely covered when rolled up. Sprinkle salt, garlic, pepper, and Italian seasoning evenly over foil. Roll each potato in the foil; puncture the package (including the potato) with a fork or knife a few times.
  3.     Grill for 1 hour, or until soft, turning the potatoes often. Serve with your favorite toppings.

dinde au vin

It's pronounced "dandovan," and it is essentially coq au vin made with turkey (dinde).  Turkey is a little bit tough, so stewing it in red wine works really well.  Turkey drumettes or thighs are a good choice of meat.  Make a big batch, divide it down into meal-sized servings, and freeze the extras.  This is a dish that improves with re-heating.

Use your favorite coq au vin recipe.

Calamari + Tomato Sauce = Yuck

Calamari and pasta and cheese sounds great if it's freshly grated cheese, but I'd definitely lose the tomato sauce.  Toss the pasta with oil, or cook the calamari in white wine, or add any of various other white sauces, but I'd definitely lose the tomato sauce with calamari.

This recipe kind of reminds me of a favorite of mine that I don't have nearly often enough, octopus on polenta.
