In a survey of 20,000 kindergartners and their parents, researchers found that while a majority of parents in all races used corporal punishment on their children, blacks did it the most. And then a bunch of sociologists talk about why this could be.

This speaks to the story we're discussing about psychology - will we ever understand why certain groups have different disciplinary practices? Is it socially learned or is there a genetic component? Does being physically disciplined as a child make you biologically hardwired to do the same to your own children? What are the implications for public policy? Fascinating stuff.

I found this revolting to watch, but I chuckled at all the comments about the damn liberal political correctness ruining our youth because we're not recognizing that this is a form of parental discipline that some cultures find acceptable, and we have to respect the differences in opinion that these cultural differences engender.
