While the Supreme Court has roundly rejected prior restraint, it turns out that this town in Massachusetts has decided that it would be a super idea to charge $20 for public swearing. A town meeting resulted in a 183-50 vote to impose a $20 fine on public profanity. The proposal was requested by the police chief to cut down on gangs of profane youngsters in the public areas of the city. Opponents say shit is fucked up.

I was on the train the other day and some twat went up to the conductor to complain that "several youths" were swearing in the back. I couldn't believe he actually got up went to the back of the train to say something and made us all late. But the kids were cool about it. Bitch could have said something herself, the kids were perfectly nice. It's people like that who can't deal with others and have to invoke "authority" who are ruining this country. She's probably a liberal.
