Why does this not surprise me? IRS and SSA routinely ignore court orders, so why shouldn't TSA join in? They call it "nonacquiescence", and Andrew Jackson made it famous by screwing Cherokee Indians after SCOTUS ruled in their favour. (As Jackson famously said of those Supreme Court Justices, "They have made their decision, now let them enforce it." Needless to say, they didn't.

Whenever I am forced to fly for work I refuse to go through that stupid machine. I take the pat down. Apparently there is some TSA protocol to require they question me to ensure I know it's not an X-Ray. WTF?! Is that whole organization run by ignorant, mouth breathing simpletons? Wait, don't answer that.

Despite recent negative press, a majority of Americans, 54%, think the U.S. Transportation Security Administration is doing either an excellent or a good job of handling security screening at airports. At the same time, 41% think TSA screening procedures are extremely or very effective at preventing acts of terrorism on U.S. airplanes, with most of the rest saying they are somewhat effective.
