Everyone seems to agree that the war on terrorism should be focused on Afghanistan. It's likely just a question of time before American presence in Iraq dials back and that time varies dependent upon whom you listen to -- sooner if you believe Barack Obama, longer if you agree with John McCain. Then, it would be onto what's left of al-Qaeda and a reinvigorated Taliban, both in Afghanistan and the neighboring provinces in Pakistan. Sounds like a plan and one the Commander in Chief, whomever he might be, will look to the warriors to accomplish. But, one of the warriors who will be charged with executing the next phase in the War on Terrorism isn't feeling all that rosy about the prospects of winning that war.
