Whassup, Holmes?

Sherlock Holmes. The name conjures a  whole range of images, from the deerstalker cap, magnifying glass, and large calabash pipe on the detective himself, as he wonders across desolate moors, or down foggy London streets in search of clues, with his sturdy but less than observant Dr Watson at his side (interestingly enough, Holmes was based on a real doctor named Joseph Bell).
