By this time, we've grown accustomed to air travel in the US being more of a hassle than a pleasure.  For most of us, it's a necessity.  Thus we show up an hour early for our flights prepared to take our shoes off, have our baggage scrutinized and our identities double checked, all in the name of security.  Now, it's time to feel either very, very secure or very, very worried after the latest bit of tragicomedy produced by our Transportation Security Administration (TSA).  Count Mandi Hamlin of Dallas, Texas among those not only very, very worried but also very, very incensed and ready to sue.

Flying The Unfriendly Skies Of Virtually Any Airline

Getting there isn't half the fun.  Getting there is most of the pain -- especially if you're talking flying.  Flyers experience lost luggage.  They get stranded on runways.  They get nailed with obnoxious, hidden airline fees.  They have to pay for airline meals (which the airlines spin as "yummy").  They're subject to arbitrary changes to airline "rewards" programs.  All of these add up to making flying a royal pain -- a pain which some experts say may never go away.
