After the bank refused her demand to take her husband's name off the mortgage & title she abandoned the home and moved into a nearby, smaller, and more expensive rental unit.

The gunman is dead and two Pentagon police officers are injured after a shooting at the Pentagon metro station around 6:40 PM yesterday. The assailant, John Patrick Bedell of Hollister, California, died of his wounds shortly after the incident.

A week after a new domestic violence and witness intimidation scandal forced widely unpopular and unelected NY Governor David Paterson (D) from an election year race, new information has surfaced that indicates the Governor may have been personally involved in having his protective detail contact a domestic violence victim that was allegedly brutalized by a friend and member of his staff. The New York Times reports that it has confirmed the Governor himself called the alleged domestic abuse victim to speak to her while her case was pending against his aide and friend.
