York County Judge Maria Musti Cook complied, declaring their marriage (at the hand of Adam Johnston, ordained minister of the Universal Life Church, also known as the mail order minister company) invalid. Judge Cook reached this decision because Johnston does not have a regular place of worship or a congregation to which he ministers.
