In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the US space program, NASA and the Discovery Channel recently released a new 6 part documentary chronicling the history of American space flight, from the early Mercury missions right up to the present. The documentary revisits many iconic images, but also contains much footage from the NASA archives that is being shown for the first time.

Review: Tuesday Morning Quarterbacking the Historic Mudfest at Heinz Field

Last night the Miami Dolphins fell to 0-11 in a heartbreaking loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3). The game was interesting because unseasonable torrential rains, coupled with a late turf switch following earlier college and high school games turned it the field into an ambiguous bowl of mud. The result? The lowest scoring game since 1993 (lowest scoring Monday night game since 1970), and the latest scoring game since the infamous "Snowplow Event" of 1982.

The iPhone. Apple's entry into the cell phone market is the biggest thing since the iPod. Since the debut in July, Apple has sold over 1,000,000 of the tiny monoliths and that's only the beginning. It's a sign of the success of the platform that the bulk of the criticisms about the phone itself have been minor.

Here's a record to put on your short-list for album of the year. Spoon's 6th album, with the baffling title (supposedly named after a piano sound on one of the songs on the album) of Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, is one of the best albums to yet wash ashore in the veritable sea of excellent releases that 2007 has so far seen.

What we have here is quite possibly the most over-hyped and over-rated album of 2007. The critics are falling all over themselves to heap praise upon the newest joint from M.I.A., but how good is it, really?
