When a child has sexual intercourse with another person, the child is deemed to be the victim and the other person is automatically considered to be a perpetrator. Justices on the Utah Supreme Court are working hard "to get their minds around" a case in which a child is deemed to be both victim and perpetrator.

California sent a bill to Gov. Schwarzenegger that would allow public health groups and non-profits to deliver condoms to inmates in prison. This was prompted in an effort to cut the cases of HIV in prison and thereby reduce treatment costs in the long-run.

Steven Stills once commented, "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with." But, according to the California Supreme Court, if you've had risky sex with someone, you'd better inform the one you're with.
